If you worked out, but you didn’t take a picture of the treadmill readout, did you really even workout?
Got my self out of bed at 5:15, did 15 minutes on the treadmill, ran to the bathroom, came back and did another 15 minutes.
Am I fit yet? 🙂
Workout: 5:30am, Treadmill, 1% incline, 30 minutes, 3mph
It’s nothing stellar, but it’s mine.
Woo Hoo! Yes, its a workout! The biggest workout was actually getting out of bed at 5:15 🙂
You got that right!
I have a piece of cardboard taped over the “calories burned” section of my screen. (So I never see it. I think that data gets a lot of people in trouble.)
I have a new deal with myself. 1 mile or 30 minutes. Which ever comes first. Eliptical/incline. So if I dawdle, I am on for 30. If I maintain consistent speed, I can get off much quicker.
I totally understand getting it done early, so it gets done. And I applaud you. Really good habit. (I think I remember you used to run early in the morning long ago.)
I did! It was a pretty regular thing but the last couple of years I just couldn’t be bothered to do it. But knowing myself as I do, I know that if I don’t do it first thing, it most likely won’t get done, so I’m making an effort again.
You bet it counts! I am doing some workouts in the morning before work & the others after. I was getting frustrated giving up so much of my time at night so changing up to mornings a few times a week was huge in keeping me motivated.
