For those of us who self-identify as Pears (body shape, not bloggers) finding a dress that fits in all the areas can be a little um…trying. If it fits on top, it’s super snug through the hips and thighs, but if it fits on bottom, it’s baggy on top. SUPER FRUSTRATING. I mean, really, why can’t someone do something about this???

Well actually, my new friend Charita at FittedPear IS doing something about it. She found herself in the above dressing-room scenario one too many times until she finally decided she was going to create her own line of DUAL-SIZED dresses. Dresses that are a 10 on top and 12 on bottom would be a dream come true for many Pears I know.  This is one of the no-brainer things that makes me go “Why didn’t I think of that???” :/

You know how comfy those cute little Jackie O shift dresses are? Yeah, I have no idea because I’ve never been able to wear one because HIPS AND THIGHS Y’ALL. Just doesn’t work on a curvylicious Pear such as myself, but if all goes according to Charita’s plan, that won’t be a problem in the future. And because this is an issue near and dear to my heart, I’ve agreed to help Charita, which means I’m recruiting YOU to help her too, because I got a little too excited about her whole concept and geeked out on her by saying LET’S DO A POLL ON MY BLOG!!! Charita is in the beginning phases of designing her line and she needs some input from regular folk like us and I thought this would be a good way to let her know what we as Pears need in regards to fabulous dresses.

So, if you are a Pear Body Shape, would you please please please answer these questions? If her dual-sizing clothing line becomes A Thing, it can only benefit all of us by letting designers know that there is a market for clothing that fits all kinds of body shapes and sizes. So please take a moment to answer these questions, or ask a Pear you know to answer them – THIS CAN ONLY LEAD TO GOOD THINGS, PEOPLE. We even discussed maybe letting a few of my readers test out some samples in the future! Exciting!

Thanks Ladies!! I’ll keep you up to date on the next steps for Fitted Pear. 🙂
