So yeah, yesterday turned into a nap-taking, couch-sitting, tv-watching kind of day. Not the kind of day I was hoping for, but I think since I stayed up so late NYE, I was really tired and just wanted to rest all day.
I hope that today will be the day I get stuff done. There is just so much to do that I get a little overwhelmed and don’t know where to start, but I’ve got a plan of attack (start by attacking my messy kitchen) and I’ll just go from there.
I’ve been thinking that I really need to re-dedicate myself to my blog and my weight loss efforts. For the last 3-4 months I have been really slacking on both, and if I want to move forward I think putting focus on these two things is where it’s at. Expect to see lots more of the Sassy (the blog) and less of the Pear (me)!
I was supposed to start a new program today that I was offered to try for free, but I never heard back from the Big Cheese with a free log-in code, so I think I will just go back to logging my cals and workouts in the Personal Health Manager site that is offered by my insurance. What I like about it is that you get points every time you log your food or workouts, and those points can be redeemed for prizes – and they are good prizes, too not some crappy plastic water bottle or set of pencils or anything stupid like that. I am aiming for the $250 Target gift card – it will take me about 6 months to get there I think, but get there I will! Dangle that carrot in front of me and I’ll do anything you ask! If it’s not against their publishing policy I’ll try to post screen shots of my log so you can see and so I can keep myself accountable. Accountability is where it’s at!
Okay, well if I’m going to get anything done today, I had better get busy. I’d like to get to Walmart before it gets too crazy – I loathe WM on a Saturday! Have a great day y’all! 🙂
