For those of you who are curious…

This is me a la curly hair.  I got up early and washed and blow-dried (blew dry?) just for you!  I actually wear it this way about half the time and I prefer to wear it this way, but some days I just like a change, hence the straightening of yesterday.  But this is what I look like most of the time:

Yesterday’s poll results were split right down middle – half of you thought I should cut my hair short, and the other half thought I should keep it long but get bangs.  But I wonder if seeing me with my hair in all it’s natural frizzy glory would change the results, so here comes Pear Hair Poll 2.0

 

 

 

Okay, enough hair talk!

Here’s a health related tip just so I can keep this blog honest:  sweet potato fries are really good.  Eating a pound of sweet potato fries BY YOURSELF is not so good.  These could be my new crack – this is one food that I can literally eat until I’m sick.  But hey, at least they were baked and not fried!  Oh and also, eating too many sweet potato fries is not conducive to working out – not a great health conscious night at the old homestead, but oh well. I’m over it.  Today’s a new day with new foods to gorge on! See, a positive attitude is a must around here.  🙂

  1. I’m a little biased – I rock the short wavy/curly bob and I love it. Super fun for summer, can be straightened when necessary too.

    And yes, I too am addicted to the sweet potato fry. There’s a bar ’round the corner that serves THE BEST sweet potato fries with roasted red pepper dipping sauce. Evil but oh so good.

  2. Oh my gosh, you’ve got the best of both worlds: fantastic hair, curly or straight, without having to get a perm!

    So I changed my vote to short, because hair will always grow back. Having gone long and short and *really* short myself, I know how nice short hair can feel in the summertime.

  3. That’s funny, I seem to be voting with Pubsgal. I think a short wavy bob would be fun too. I forgot to tell you I used a product by Iso called Bouncycurl, which I really liked. Don’t know if it would help you or not. I really like Iso products.

    I too love the sweet potato fries. And really, a pound of them would probably be a very nutritious meal, if that was all you ate…

    Sweet potatoes are supposed to be one of the most nutritious foods in the world.

  4. You’ve got amazing hair, woman! I voted to leave it as it is, but I’m growing my hair out so perhaps I’m biased to longer hair. You need to do what makes YOU feel good. If you’re tired of your hair, something new will energize you.

    I’m like that about butternut squash fries. Love ’em & could eat two pans of them.

  5. I’m no help, because I think you look great with all the different hairstyles pictured! Other than “don’t shave it off,” or “probably a mohawk wouldn’t be a great look either” I’ve got absolutely no advice.

    And in a weird coincidence, I just (re)discovered sweet potato fries–in particular, how easy it is to bake them at home. Yummm! Had some last night and I forsee more in the not too distant future.

  6. You have fab curls. Personally i think your hair looks great as is (and how nice that you can wear it curly or straight and pulled up or down – think of the possibilities!!!!). Don’t mess with a good thing.

    One final thought: curly hair + bangs + summertime humidity = potential mini-fro on your head. I’m just saying.
