Holy Internal Audit Batman!! My life the past 6 days has been crazy-busy!! Internal audits at work that resulted in a couple of 10 hour days + a couple of minor home improvement repairs at home + 2 wicked fights with the hubs = not a very damn good week. This week isn’t looking much better either. I’m PMSing like crazy (hence the fights with the hubs) and now I’m playing catch up at work because those 2 audit days were spent with me taking 12 pages of notes.
CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!
Which leads me to my first question…what’s a good red wine for a novice wine drinker?????? My bff D suggested La Crema Pinot Noir, haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds yummy. I tried the Turning Leaf Merlot…I will not be trying that one again. Anyone have a favorite that they would be willing to share?
Got in one good walk over the weekend and one early morning walk last week, which brings my total workouts to…2. I know, I mean I don’t know how I manage to make it look so easy, being Supermom and all. I should probably slow down or something, I don’t want to be accused of being an over-achiever.
Um, I don’t have a second question. Sorry. Feel free to ask one in the comments though if you like.
Okay back to work. I’ll come up for air before the end of the week (I hope!).
STOP THE INSANITY! I know, I’d like to get off this crazy ride, too. Holy cow, that’s a lot of work hours for you. Hang in there.
I only worked out twice last week, too. And I think I ate my weight in cake & ice cream. Which ridiculously continued through the weekend. My loose work pants are tight this morning. Ugh. I hate being such a roller coaster dieter, but I yam what I yam. Back to the diet, I hope. It’s so hard to get back to it when all you want to do is eat comfort food.
Good luck this week.
I poor.
I drink yellow tail.
La Crema Pinot Noir? If that is 3/4 pure cream and 1/4 very sweet wine, I want some. Otherwise, I have nothing for you. I just don’t like wine. If I ever become a wino (which is a distinct possibility) you will see me with a bottle in a brown paper bag, but it will be a bottle of that pre-mixed pina colada stuff or white russian stuff–any drink that is 3/4 or more cream. I guess that would make me a creamo…
Glad to hear from you, Jill. Real life is so annoying sometimes.
Pinot noir from Oregon is quite good…comlex and full-bodied (much better than merlot IMHO). When my life is very annoying, I have to exercise to release the pent-up stuff or I become a “rhymes with witch” and take it out on those I love. Yuck. I meditate too. Works for me, but time, time, time…always an issue. GO with the wine 🙂
i’m such a novice wine drinker, but i’m happy with a malbec..they’re from argentina and relatively inexpensive but still a happy wine : )
Hmmmm, I say your break from not posting is OVER.
